Next week we will take a break from our usual routine in language arts and focus on a writing unit instead of the typical story and associated activities. We will continue with our exploration of the earth's weather in science and will read about the European explorers in Social Studies. Additionally we'll have an Art Vista lesson that culminates in a work in the style of Georgia O'Keefe.
Paper is worth its weight in gold these days and we occasionally find ourselves without any on the shelves. If you happen to have an extra ream lying around your house and would like to donate it, A1 will put it to good sue.
Enjoy your long weekend. Remember those 30-60 minutes of daily reading on the days off.
