The time is flying...

It's been a BUSY day.  The other half of the crew went on the picnic hike.  We enjoyed some silly, fun songs in the "chapel".  The students took time to give some feedback on their cabin leaders.  A1 students had lots of positive remarks.  The cabin leaders really are terrific.

We all were thrilled to welcome Alisha back from India.  She jumped in the car after her long flight and made it up to us before supper.  I hung around with the students doing their "Fiesta Night"...it was wild and crazy night of singing, dancing, games, and laughter.  The students really let their collective hair down.  It's nice to see them just being kids.  Some of the night hikers saw two raccoons on the adventure. Serious excitement all around!

We had a few moments of homesickness with a few kids today but everyone seemed to find their equilibrium.  I am so proud of them for working through a few tough minutes.  All was well as we did the rounds and made sure that everyone was ready for bed.  Teachers and students alike are ready for a good night's sleep.
