It's been great to have some rain, and the students have managed the variable weather well. Please ensure that your son or daughter comes to school is layers and can be comfortable in a variety of temperatures both indoors and outdoors. This week we continue reading the novel My Side of the Mountain and examining novels, poems, and plays in terms of the author's structure. In mathematics, we are wrapping up Unit 5 on classifying polygons. We'll tackle the inner and outer planets in our study of our solar system. Students are investigating a particular European explorer in social studies in preparation for writing a report.
