Thanks to all the parents who were able to attend Back to School Night. I look forward to working with your children to grow their intrinsic motivation, gain more autonomy, and fuel their curiosity.
There will be lots coming home in the white envelope this week, including our summative Unit 1 assessment in math. It is the first of two units on volume. Your child will have attached some personal reflections on their learning for this unit. Please take the opportunity to discuss their thoughts.
Please plan to join me on Tuesday, Sept 8th for the annual A-1 Parent Math Night. The purpose of the evening is to introduce research in math learning, overview the math standards, and provide some practical tips and advice for supporting your child.
