We've begun our new Science unit in weather.  

In Language Arts, we're reading about figure skater, Michelle Kwan, and discussing fact vs. opinion.  Most math students are wrapping up the chapter on multiplication and exponents while some have started division of whole numbers. 

The students have a number of on-going classroom assignments that require some time management.  Those include:

- Tides Story (now overdue)

- Scholastic News (due Thursday)

- Reading Vocab (due Fri)

- Science Vocab (due next Fri). 

These only become homework when students don't optimize their classroom time and finish classwork.  

I'm a little under the weather with a cold and on the whole, the students have done a great job keeping productive while their teacher is a little less perky than usual.
