We regrouped the fifth grade for math instruction today. Students have been carefully placed to best meet their instructional needs in math. The fifth grade team will monitor students over the coming weeks to establish excellent productivity in class, responsibility with respect to homework, and good assessment results.
Thanks to parents who were able to attend Back to School Night. We had a full room and I appreciated your attention as we flew through the fifth grade curriculum.
Just a reminder that forms for science camp are now overdue. Donations of $300 per student can be brought in to me - cheques are payable to Los Alamitos. Please remember that "camp buddies" concerns will be resolved by students and teachers. The pairings do not significantly impact the day-to-day experience at camp, and parents need not be concerned with trying to manage buddies remotely.
