Afternoon & Evening Fun

Field groups were busy around and about the camp today doing a variety of activities.  They investigated the beautiful trees, made tea from leaves, smeared their faces with camouflage, and played games.

Camp is running with its usual clockwork precision.  Thad, the camp medic, is ensuring that all students who receive medication took it in a timely fashion.  Students were very hungry by the time the dinner bell rang and they eagerly ate homemade macaroni & cheese, cauliflower & broccoli, cornbread, salad, and brownies for dessert. The gluten-free & lactose-free option was enviously eyed by everyone.

Half of the students will be playing games and dancing at the Fiesta tonight. The other half will be heading out on a night hike.  I plan to join Moose's group as they venture into the woods to observe the forest and the sky in quiet darkness.

I anticipate that everyone will sleep well tonight!
