We were so fortunate to spend an hour with Dr. Melina Uncapher of Stanford University and the Institute for Applied Neuroscience. She spoke to the entire 5th grade and fielded dozens of questions about how our brain works and how we learn. Dr. Uncapher stayed on to speak with teachers at the end of the day about the application of current neuroscience research on learning and teaching! It was a great day in A-1, albeit a little warm with 100 bodies in the room.
