Please go through students' white envelopes carefully. There is no Lion's Roar this week, but you will find detailed information about our Science Camp trip.
Today we enjoyed a visit from our instructional coach, Sheri Holt, who watched a math lesson and met with me to discuss her observations. We are so fortunate to enjoy Mrs. Holt's contributions to our professional development as well as support from new intervention specialists, Deanna Persai and Emily Dewhirst.
In addition, students took a reading assessment, wrote an autobiographical poem - you can ask them what they know about the word "autobiography". They enjoyed P.E. with Ms Autumn Edgar before lunch. In the afternoon, we did some writing. Perhaps they will share with you the story I told them about my trip to Ireland this summer. We wrapped up the day with science, starting with broadening our knowledge about oceans. I'm confident that students can explain the word "hydrosphere" to you.
